Sarah Harries

Sarah’s work interrogates the relationship we as humans have with our planet. It examines the converging nature of anthropocentric processes on the environment, and the counter-ecological movement established in the Anthropocene age. The tensions between the organic and synthetic are exposed in a fever dream of the grotesque. In the form of video installation, sound and sculpture, her work aims to reconcile us with our biosphere, exploring notions of propagation, terraforming and procreation in an age of planetary atrocities.
